The past cannot be rewritten
If someone edits the file afterwards, it no longer matches the proof. That is the point: a later version cannot pretend to be the original.
You hold the keys
Attestia does not custody your wallet. There is no human notary in the middle. The proof is yours to keep and to show.
Usable as evidence in a proceeding — Attestia does not guarantee the outcome of any specific case.

Notary computes a fingerprint of the file. Attestia is not a cloud drive: we do not keep a copy of your document as storage.

Keep the receipt
You receive a verifiable receipt. Anyone can check it later on evidence.attestia.io without spending credits.

How credits work
Credits are the units of work you buy in order to notarize. They are not a subscription and they are not a storage plan.
- You buy credit packs in the Shop or from the dashboard.
- Credits are spent when you notarize — not when you create an account.
- Checking an existing proof on evidence.attestia.io does not spend credits.
- Before you confirm, the app shows how many credits that operation costs.
- A credit is a unit of work, not a promise that one file always costs one credit.
